is a professor in the Faculty of Human Sciences at Waseda University in Japan. He studied Science Education at Tokyo Gakugei University, earned master degree at the Graduate School of Education, and was majored in Educational Technology at Tokyo Institute of Technology. Getting Ph.D. (EduTech) in 1999. Then, he became a research associate of the Research Center for School Education at Naruto University of Education, an assistant professor of Department of Information Technology and Education at Nagasaki University, and has been the current position since 2007. He is also an Associate Director of Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT), and Vice Project Director of WasedaX (see http://www.edX.org), MOOCs project at Waseda University.
Yusuke Morita was a visiting scholar at the University of Texas at Austin in 2004-2005, and a visiting scholar at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014-2015. He is an executive board member and an editorial board member of Japan Society of Educational Technology (JSET), and an executive board member of Japan Society of Science Education (JSSE).
